Winter training & pot luck social

Location:  Dana’s Office In Tysons Corner 

Description: We will start with a pot-luck lunch from 1-2 pm and then learn and practice knots from 2 – 4 pm.  Joel will lead the session with assistance from Dana. Basic knots, including the bowline, square knot, two-half hitches, figure eight, and the slippery reef, will be covered. We will also cover proper ways to belay a cleat and, if time permits, other knots or line-handling items.

Capacity:  Limited to 20 people on a first-come, first-served RSVP basis. 

Fee:          There is no charge for this training.
